Since our products are digital invitation cards delivered instantly, all sales are generally final. However, we offer refunds in genuine cases of technical failure or duplicate transactions. Read the full policy below.
1. Introduction
This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to all purchases made on Invitation in Marathi (invitationinmarathi.in). By placing an order, you agree to this Policy.
2. Nature of Our Products
We provide digital invitation cards that are:
- Customized with your specific information (names, dates, venues)
- Generated and delivered instantly upon successful payment
- Downloaded by you for use on WhatsApp, social media, email, or print
- Non-tangible, non-returnable digital files
3. Refund Eligibility
3.1 ✅ Eligible for Refund
You may be eligible for a refund in the following cases:
A) Duplicate Charge
If you were charged twice for the same order due to a technical glitch, the duplicate amount will be refunded.
B) Payment Failed but Amount Deducted
If payment was deducted from your account but the order was not created on our system, the full amount will be refunded.
C) Technical Failure on Our Platform
If you couldn't download your card due to a verifiable technical issue on our website (not your device or internet), and we are unable to resolve the issue within 48 hours, you are eligible for a full refund.
D) Defective Product
If the delivered card has rendering errors, missing fonts, broken layout, or other defects caused by our system (not user input errors), we will first try to fix it. If unable to fix within 24 hours, you can request a refund.
3.2 ❌ Not Eligible for Refund
The following situations are NOT eligible for refunds:
A) Change of Mind
Once a card is generated and delivered, no refund is available simply because you changed your mind.
B) User Errors
Spelling mistakes, wrong dates, incorrect names, or any errors in the information you entered. You can preview the card before payment - please verify carefully.
C) Already Downloaded
If the card has been successfully downloaded, the digital product has been delivered and consumed.
D) Event Cancellation
If your event (wedding, birthday, etc.) is cancelled or postponed, this does not entitle you to a refund.
E) Compatibility Issues
Your device, software, or printer not displaying the card correctly. Standard JPG/PDF formats are universally supported.
F) Coupon Issues
Forgetting to apply a coupon code, or coupons that have expired or reached their usage limit.
4. Refund Request Process
To request a refund, follow these steps:

- Registered email address
- Razorpay Payment ID
- Detailed description of the issue
- Screenshots if applicable
- We review your request within 2 business days and respond with our decision.
- If approved, the refund is initiated immediately and credited to your original payment method.
5. Refund Timeline
Once approved, refunds are processed as follows:

Note: Bank processing times may vary. The refund will appear in your account/card statement once processed by your bank.
6. Order Cancellation
Before Payment: You can cancel your order at any time before completing payment. Simply close the browser tab or click "Cancel" - no charge will be made.
After Payment: Since cards are generated instantly upon successful payment, post-payment cancellation is generally not possible. However, you may request a refund per Section 3 above if eligible.
7. Disputes & Chargebacks
We strongly encourage you to contact us first before raising a payment dispute or chargeback with your bank. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.
If you initiate a chargeback without contacting us first, your account may be suspended pending investigation. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in legal action.
8. Special Circumstances
In exceptional cases (e.g., medical emergencies, demonstrable hardship), we may offer goodwill refunds at our sole discretion. These are evaluated case-by-case.
